I have never heard of such a law around here. But I would be interested to find out what you found out. Is that a law in Kentucky?
Can New Shingles Be Aged?
Can a new shingle be made to look like a weathered shingle so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb?

In time the shingles will fade and start to match. But there's nothing you can do to make them weathered.

Very Discouraged
For a long time I shopped here for little items because they offered a nice local selection of unique gifts. They are certainly overpriced but I chose to overlook that because it is rare that you find such things locally. But recently I wanted to purchase a set of Tervis tumblers and discovered that all the rumors I had heard from former customers were true. The owner of this place has no respect or concern for her customers. She could care less if you're satisfied with your purchase and has no interest in trying to work with you if you change your mind. The owner's horrendous customer service and the outrageous prices are enough to keep me away from now on. The choice is yours, but I would recommend that you save yourself some time and hard earned cash and shop elsewhere. Neither you nor I deserve to be treated like second class customers.... more
