I live in Toano and had gone to quite a few shops in Williamsburg and Newport News and for a regular haircut or color someone should get it right... well not! So one day I asked a co-worker where she goes (as her hair cut & color always looked good) and I was happy the 1st time after I was finished and have been going back for quite a few years, It's worth the drive to get great customer services and prices. The person I see is Judy and she listens and works with you, so you don't feel rushed. Everyone at this location is really nice.... more

Very low quality work! These guys mow my yard and every time they get out here to do it, it's always uneven. If they are not mowing where anyone can see they just use a trimmer to knock down the tall grass and it looks terrible. I'd rather pay a teenager in the neiborhood to mow it.... more

Brauer's Mechanical Inc.
From VERY GOOD to WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
I have done business with Brauer for over 3 years. My change in recommendation is the result of a recent service call (3/20/11). After performing a routine diagnostic as a result of a service call, the technician replaced a defective capacitor. The technician charged $115 for this $22.00 (retail cost) part. Upon calling the home office to bring this to their attention, the owner stated that technicians can now charge what they want for parts. He indicated that the markup was steep, yet he was trying a "new program" to get more profit for his company in these "difficult times." This example of price gouging should be a warning of the integrity of this firm. Make your own call, but Brauer will not have my business again!... more
