yes. Virginia's law states your parent would have to sign for you. 16 & 17 with a parent or legal guardian is ok, with proper id. if for some reason your last name & address is different on your id from your parent's id, the shop will need your birth certificate. hope that helps :)

Brandywine Apartments
Renters beware...
The most poorly managed place I have ever stayed. In my first year at Brandywine, I was sad to see their landlady of many years retire. After that, they couldn't keep a steady landlady even a full year. If you try to get ANY sort of paperwork done such as adding someone to your lease, it takes months. In my case 5 months. By that point I just gave my 90 days notice to move out. That's right, 3 full months no matter how long you've been there or how good of a tenant you are. However, if you are a troublemaker you can get evicted right away and not have to worry about paying the rent every month until they find a replacement tenant. Oh and you can't get someone you know to take the lease over, they have to go in the order of which apt was vacant first, so yours might be #15 on the list. The management was constantly going to court to get more money from people. Roach problem too. Not pleasant waking up to a crawling sensation on your head...... more

r. So, we had actually been there even longer than an hour. I asked her the managers name. She responded "Well do you just want to talk to him?" So, the manager came out. I explained to him that I've NEVER felt the need to ask for a manager, but I just had to complain. He refunded our money and he explained to us that one pizza was entered incorrectly. The waitress then literally slammed our pizzas on the table and screamed "THANKS!" Regardless of her stinky attitude, we still felt like she deserved a tip, so we left her a dollar. Luckily, we're nice people. Finally, we were home and started to eat our pizzas only to realize one was obviously re-heated. They didn't even bother to remake the other pizza so each of us could have fresh food. Completely disappointed. Literally, the best pizza I've found in Roanoke, but by far the worst experience at a restaurant, ever.... more

I had pretty bad service (waitress wasn't very tentative) the first time I went there, but I just let it slide since they were busy. The second time was a flat out nightmare. We waited 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. At that point, I was okay with that. It was a busy night and it is a small place, afterall. As we waited for two 8" cheese pizzas, we watched the family that came in at the same time as us receive their far more complicated order than ours, eat it, pay and start to leave. We also watched a couple of ladies that came in atleast 10 minutes after us do the same. Finally, we flagged down the waitress and asked if we could just get our food to go. The waitress then brought our bill and asked us to pay. We did, even though we were both confused as to why we were paying before we even got our food. After sitting there even longer, still without food, she brought us our final receipt. I then realized we had been there for an HOUR according to when she put in our orde... more

Never go to this store. The owner is one of the most socially inept and rude people I have ever met. He is very arrogant and treats people with contempt, I dont know how he stays in business. I am 31, but look young, maybe he thought I was some dumb kid trying to waste his time. The truth is, I had a wad of cash in my pocket and I went to his shop intending to make some kind of purchase. I have spent a couple hundred dollars there over the last few months, but never had any conversation with the owner, until today. When I inquired about a coin he had for sale, he became very irritated and replied "I just sell them, I dont talk about them." I was pretty shocked that he wouldnt discuss a product that he was selling, not even with a loyal customer who was about to buy his product. I just walked out of the store and will NEVER go back. There are other sits that have reviews on this guy and his buisness, and ll the reviews say the same thing: That he treats people terribly. DONT GO.... more
