Well you can go to a high priced chain who does repairs or do as I do and use a smaller Mom and Pop like in my neighborhood.Some do not charge to do an diagnostic check on them and the first thing I'd do is to check to see if the drivers are working and up to snuff perhaps you deleted some small file that you did not notice ,go to the www website of your laptop design i.e. acer , gateway , dell , put in your info and update your drivers just to be sure they are there and working right ,I did this once on my gateway and it was all I needed to do hope it works for you also-1EdgyGuy-
