Langley is a city in Island County, Washington. in 2007 the population was 959. One of the biggest industries in Langley is tourism. Langley is home to an early era movie theatre, a vintage grocery store, and several restaurants. Lagley boasts a variety of annual events that attracts visitors from all over. One such event is the annual Mystery Weekend, held the last weekend of February. Every July 4th, Langley hosts Choochokam, an annual concert in which most of the city's streets are closed down and music saturates the atmosphere from a downtown stage. The Island County Fair is held in August, and is the biggest community gathering of the year. The largest schools in Langley are South Whidbey High School, and Langley Middle School.
