When the technician is performing the system flow analysis several factors are taken into consideration, such as the actual flow output and how the static(water) level in the well is reacting to the system being run. If the flow or the water level is dropping down too quickly then this could indicate a water flow issue. Our technicians are looking for the flow and the static level to stabilize, thus giving an accurate indication as to what the well is outputting and also what it is capable of in terms of performance. Ideally for residential use a flow of 5 GPM or greater is standard however the well's storage, capacity and depth also can be taken into the consideration when determining if the system is adequate.
