Those who visit Redmen Hall will get a real treat visiting this historic building, which used to be a school. With the River Life Interpretive Center on the second floor, they will view the history of the area and also enjoy a variety of special events that are found there throughout the year. It is on SR 4 across from the Skamokawa Center which houses a store, cafe, post office and kayak tours as well as rooms to stay. However, the map accompanying this page is totally wrong, as is the one for the Duck Inn, so that doesn't help if people are looking for it!... more
We went to the Duck Inn while we were camping with friends at Vista Park. The staff was friendly and they allowed us to watch our college game on their TV, even though nobody else in the place cared one bit. A great small town bar experience.... more
