Tattooing
Altered Reality Tattoo in Vancouver Washington Opened in April of 2005. We opened the shop with the idea that Tattooing could be a safer experience. With much research we found a canadian supplier who had plastic tattoo tubes, which makes the tattooing process a safer more sterile procedure. This re buying of tubes is more expensive than reusing metal tubes, but is much safer. In the last year or so, other shops have begun to follow our lead. As an industry leader in this area, we have all taken health classes and have exeeded health standards out of respect for our business. It has paid off. All these other shops can only try to immulate and copy what we pioneered. The State of Washington along with our help and input have started to force people to get liscensed by the state and to clearly display these; But have only 2 agents for the whole state, making it impossible to keep up on your safety. It is very important for your health that you seek out shops who have worked so hard to keep you safe. There is a list of shops who are liscensed, and it is available wadol.gov ....you can do a search for shops. If you notice, our shop is listed 3 times, and others only once. Why is that the case? because we are the only shop in clark county that has gone through the trouble to be liscenced correctly. So take heed when giving money to shops who are unlicensed, or improperly licenced..you may go to get you tattoo finished only to find the shop shut down in the very very near future.
