About Camp Douglas

Camp Douglas is a part of the Juneau County region of Wisconsin known for its Air National Guard Base and German culture. Major attractions include Target Bluff German Haus and Eagle’s Nest Resort LLC. Each year in the summer season there are lots of camping opportunities. Among the biggest companies in Camp Douglas are Mahaffey Excavating, LLC, and Eco-Mimo. The biggest schools here are Camp Douglas Elementary School and Tug Hollow School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Camp Douglas is the Pasta Barn Restaurant. Camp Douglas is named after James Douglas, a settler who created a camp to supply wood to nearby train stations.
