long time customer
As a long time customer, I have generally been pleased with the service and courtesy at Cordell's...until recently. Really folks, it took 4 trips to your business in a year for you to find a faulty tensioner pulley? (Even though we told you we suspected the problem on the first trip.) Don't try to tell me that you didn't hear the noise it was making because the noise has been there all along. I am a 66 year-old woman & even I was sure of the problem. (The Taurus is my step-son's) Have you changed mechanics? I'm not seeing the quality of service that once defined Cordell's! I used to defend your higher prices because I trusted the quality of Cordell's. Not any more!! The fact that the serpentine belt was replaced several times before the tensioner was considered a problem is ludicrous! (Not to mention the $300.plus ( & towing) bill to be paid this time!... more

King Furniture
WONDERFUL STORE
My husband and I went to King Furniture today to buy a couch. We washed our old couch cushions and they never dried all the way so we were definitely in need. We were worried they wouldn't have anything that tripped our trigger, but their selection was amazing. I saw the flier for trade ins but we decided we didn't want brand spankin new furniture with a 7 week old and an almost 3 yr old. Nobody followed us throughout the store. They were very nice and let us be to make our own decisions. Their selection was HUGE and when I think of used furniture, I definitly don't think about what they were carrying. I have no complaints about this store and will go back when we are looking for NEW! :) I would recommend to any of my friends.... more

Cordells Towing & Repair
Avoid at all costs
A year ago, our Ford Expedition wouldn't start, so we had it towed to Cordell's. Told they couldn't figure anything out, so they wanted to do a $450 tune-up. It ran long enough to drive home, then wouldn't start the next day. After paying to have it towed in again, they said it was the fuel pump (duh!) wanted $600 more. I towed it home and did the fuel pump replacement myself for $110. Vowed to never go there again. A year later, vehicle suddenly starts sounding like a lawn mower. Find air coming out of cylinder 7. COP is broken. Removed COP to find plug loose in cylinder. Removed plug - looks like original plug. Pulled another plug for comparison - different lot number. So, most likely, Cordell's did not replace this plug because it is very difficult to get at, or they did replace it (unlikely) and they did shoddy work by not tightening it. Either way, they don't deserve to be in business and trusted with your vehicle.... more
