It depends on the approach taken, if you do it the typical way of replacing 3 fixtures one being combo tub/shower with acrylic wall surround about 3 days but at this point allow a couple of days for unknowns and more if changing design or extensive decorations.

Depends on the cleaning method. If you have chosen a bonnet/rotary cleaning, I wouldn't recommend having your carpets cleaned more than every 6 months. Steam clean, or hot water extraction, I could see every 3 months or so. The reason is that the steam clean is less abrasive to the carpet fibers. Another thing to consider, is purchasing a high quality, multiple stage, HEPA filtration vacuum. People often underestimate the value of a thorough vacuuming.
