Lokemoen Construction was hired as the GC for my new residential construction. Jeff (owner) accumulated so many inspection defects I eventually had to fire him. Don't trust me or other homeowers, call the City of Wausau Inspections office and talk to Phil Borchardt (city inspector) at 715-261-6780. He will give you an unbiased review of this builder and the quality of his work. Don't hire this company without talking to Phil at the Wausau inspections office.... more

This store has changed
I used to come in to this store and I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I was in after almost a year of not needing anything and found that the store I liked so much had become almost unrecognizable. I was really disappointed at the lack of friendly staff this time. Everyone seemed rushed and edgy. I didn't recognize anyone except a thin bald guy who always seems to be there. There was an uppity woman with graying hair who pretended to know exactly what I needed and spoke like she knew something about the pump I needed. She had a radio set on and discretely radioed for someone to come over and help me. She must be the new owner I read about in a previous review. Once a guy named Walt came she just turned around and left. How RUDE and pretentious. Walt was nice, and I had to come back twice because he sold me the wrong sink drainpipe (even though I brought in the old one). I will go to menards from now on. I wonder how they will stay in business.... more
