First, I am not a painter! But, my house does have siding
installed. The siding is beige and has never faded or discolored...looks good! What is wrong with yours? I have seen some houses use a power washer to remove dirt and debris from the siding and looks much better...the color came back some. If the siding is damages then I guess you have to paint it. Either way, I'm sure you could get some tips from your local paint supply like Sherwin Williams or Home Depot to help with more advice.

Cleaning the heat pump (outdoor) section of the unit is much like any other brand. 1)Remove all power by turning both the indoor and outdoor portions of the equipment off. 2)CHECK WITH ELECTRICAL METER TO ENSURE POWER IS OFF...BOTH THE HIGH & LOW VOLTAGE. 3) Using a 5/16 nutdriver, remove the top portion of the heatpump....to which the condenser fan motor is mounted. LABEL AND REMOVE CONDENSER FAN MOTOR WIRES TO ENABLE EASY REMOVAL AND RE-INSTALLATION. 4) Apply a mild foaming detergent/cleaner to the coil in the opposite direction of normal air flow across the coil (CLEAN FROM INSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE). 5) Now use a water hose with low pressure sprayer to clean out the dirt & build up. You want to spray directly and not at an angel. This will help you avoid bending the coil fins. 6) Reassemble in reverse.

You have successfully cleaned your coil. Make sure to protect the electrical components such as the control board and onboard dianostic center(if equipped) from exposure to water.

If you live in a colder climate where snow fall is common you should make sure you have "pump ups" installed. These are "feet" that will raise your Heat Pump up high enough to avoid snow from blocking your outdoor coil during heating. cardinalairservices.com hvacmarket.com
