About Lizemores

Lizemores is a community in Clay County, West Virginia, known for its rugged terrain and thick forests. Lizemores is located on West Virginia Route 16 10 miles southwest of Clay. Major attractions include Hawks Nest State Park, Carnifex Ferry State Park and New River Gorge Preserve. One of the most exciting things to when visiting the Lizemores area is to go whitewater rafting. Local businesses include Freda's Restaurant and Laurel Fork Missionary Baptist. Among the biggest companies in Lizemores are Gould's Electric Motor Repair and Godfather's Pizza. Lizemores is served by a post office, Lizemores Elementary School and is a short distance from WVU Institute of Technology.
