Upper Tract is an unincorporated community of Pendleton County in West Virginia known for its cornfields and farm valleys. The community lies along U.S. Highway 220 at the confluence of Reeds Creek and the South Branch Potomac River. Major attractions include Laurel Trace Farm and Big Bend Campground. Each year in September the Treasure Mountain Festival is held in Franklin, WV. Among the biggest companies in Upper Tract are Lambert's Auto Sales and Upper Tract Healthcare. The biggest schools nearby are Franklin Elementary School and Pendleton County High School in nearby Franklin. One of the best places to visit when you are in Upper Tract is Wilderness Inn. The Inn offers relaxing and country accommodations near Upper Tract.
