Current Status: CoachJaynine is thinking about how people confuse being "busy" with being "productive". They are not the same.

How Can I Negotiate Agreements that Build More Consistent Business?
"My questions to you are: 1. Why do you need to negotiate? 2. What are your negotiating? My suggestions to avoid the need to negotiate: 1. Have clear easy to understand contracts. 2. Listen to common reasons people want to negotiate and decide what you may need to change to accommodate the client/customer. Have scripts ready for common reasons people want to negotiate your fee, services etc. 3. You must know the value you provide and what your walk away line is. You can not and do not want to give away your services or products for free. 4. Articulate the value you provide, the benefits, and the pain you take away for the customer or client. Without your product or service what would happen? Would they face a six figure fine? Would they be evicted? Would they be sued? Most people try to negotiate when they do not see the value in what you provide. Lastly, remember, not everyone is your ideal client. It is ok to walk away. Again, no your bottom line and do not put up with pushy or angry or intimidating customers. I have a great interview you can listen to for free http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/31087 episode 58 was on negotiating. Sincerely, Jaynine Howard"
"You will want to read the job announcement very carefully to see if you are suppose to submit it online through their website, or visit their website and fill out an application, mail it to a specific person or email it."
