Our ultimate goal is to promote interaction between Marion County and North Central West Virginia Residents and Businesses to build and maintain a strong local economy. We are your interactive online community website that allows the users to enter their own information and submissions. We offer a community calendar, classified ads, pet adoption info, news, free ringtones, articles, business listings, messaging, coupons, weather, and lots more items coming soon. This is for the Marion County and North Central West Virginia area. Businesses in Fairmont and North Central West Virginia areas may already have a listing and we request that you verify your information is correctly listed. If a correction needs made, please utilize the contact me form and we will get it corrected. As of October 1st, we began charging a $10 a year fee to be in the Business Directory. For those already listed, you are grandfathered in until your listing expires. This is due to the economy and cost of maintaining the site. We offer advertising as well as news for the area. Our rates are very competitive to other media advertising venues. Submit your news stories as well as activities and I will include them in our newsletter. Enter our monthly photo contest or vote for your favorite. We are here to serve you the business community as well as the residents. For the businesses who advertise with us during 2011, we will be giving back to the community. For every advertising package purchased, a portion of the proceeds from that sale will be donated to a local charity in that business' name. The details are still being worked on for this promotion but these are the plans for 2011. The local charities can use all our help and with the economy in the state it is in, we can help by giving back. We are going to be working on some other great things for 2011.
