Dowd Restoration

We would like to thank you and your team for the fantastic work you did on our townhouse and that of our neighbors adjoining townhouse during October 2010. The main project of repairing, power washing and recoating the exterior stucco along with paint touch up was well ...done in every sense of the word. It looked great when you finished and still looks great after it has had a bit of weather and time to settle. We still get a lot of compliments on the refurbished appearance of the buildings. The deck refinishing was also quite a success. We had previously had the decks refinished but they never looked as good as they do now. It has really made a difference and we will definitely be calling on you to provide cleaning and refinishing as required. The repair and restoration work you did to the front deck has certainly made that deck look like a new one vs. the slightly shabby appearance that was visible to guests as they arrived at our home. Perhaps the most fun part of the project Read More

Jim and his team did a terrific job restoring my deck and painting my house. I was very impressed with his commitment to getting the job done right of the highest quality and making sure I was satisfied with it before finishing...even with a few mid project change reque...sts. Deck needed to be stripped, sanded, screws and nails reset, and stained. The deck looks great. House needed water damage fixed, patched and painted. House looks great. All at a reasonable price. I feel comfortable that Jim and his team would make a return visit to do any touch-ups if necessary. Jim's crew is talented and professional, great customer service.‎ Read More

Dowd Restoration recently finished painting the exterior of my house. Jim made the entire experience very smooth and trouble-free. The preliminary work-scraping, priming, patching, etc.-was very expertly done, and everything was completed in a timely manner. There were ...some complications due to a new roof and some woodwork repairs being done during the same time period, once that was completed, Jim was over quickly to take care of all the touching up and additional repainting necessary. The crew was very friendly and polite. They also worked very hard and answered all questions we had. We were also amazed at how a new paint job and colors can totally change the look of a house. We love the new look. Definite two thumbs up! Read More
