Franchises
When you have franchised daycares, standards are going to be compromised. The owner that sold this franchise should have standards that they monitor and enforce.
Just Awful
I don't know where to start. When my preschooler was there from May 2007 to March 2008, he was hit by another child everyday. The staff didn't think that an intervention was needed and stated that my child was not the only being beaten up everyday by the "bully" child. ...Apparently, they don't do time outs, so the only thing they do to resolve the issue is to ask both children (the hitter and the victim) how they felt about the situation. Well sure, if I was the hitting all the children and that was the only thing that happened to me, I would go right on hitting too. I pulled my son out when I picked him up one day after they called me to tell me that this other child smacked him with a block on his head. He had to be kept awake because the staff was afraid he may have a concussion. I was done, we pulled him out of there and put him into The Goddard School across the street. There has been no issue since then.
