NASTY AND RUDE PROPRIETOR WHO DISRESPECTS CUSTOMERS
(This review was delayed until we left Long Beach, as the store has the same name as the Long Beach Police Chief, but all the facts are 100% correct) Shortly before Christmas, we went to Luna for an unusual Xmas Tree ornament, and our three-year-grandson accidentally dr...opped a fragile glass ornament (shaped like a small boat). The sales staff made us pay for that accidentally-broken ornament, including sales tax. A couple of days later, I went back to the store to ask the owner for a replacement ornament, and he got rude and nasty, claiming our grandson "broke the boat on purpose" -- a total lie -- and then banning me from his shop forever. The owner did finally give me a replacement, but only after I told him charging tax on a broken item is against the law. Actually, the boat ornament was not hung safely, but the store and its owner take zero responsibility. SHAME ON LUNA>AVOID THIS STORE!
The Best Place for Gifts!!!!!!!!!!!
I love coming to Luna. Whenever I have to get a gift for someone who is "impossible to buy for," this place helps me out every time.\t\n\t\nMy mother loves getting earrings from them for her birthday. They have a HUGE selection. I usually get three pair of some big d...angly things. They wrap them in three little boxes and, get this, each one is in a different paper and ribbon? I mean FREE GIFT WRAPPING! I love this place.

i love this store for buying gifts, i shop there all the time. the sales people are great, helpful and knowledgeable about their product, and very friendly.\t\nin regards to the review by barbara, saying the staff is scary, that's bizarre, i guess everyone has a right t...o their opinion but as a person who works in retail there are always "those" customers that are bitchy and it sounds like she is "one of those"\t\nkeep up the good work luna!!\t\ndaryl p
Rude Sales People Rule Luna Belmont Shore
Luna Belmont Shore store enticed me into their art-filled shop but the sales people scared the heck out of me. The sales people need a course in customer satisfaction. Something seemingly innocent asked by a customer such as a box size is rebuffed by "this is how we do ...it here and if you don't like it, get out." Very scary and amazing that the Luna staff are like this.
