NEVER buy lumber at Menards
I printed the Menards item number, price and description of a pine 4"x4"x8' on the Menards website and after waiting in line for 15 minutes the cashier informed me that I could not buy this lumber unless I had a "pick ticket" form the contracters counter. Another 10 min...utes waiting in line there and I was informed that I could not get a "pick ticket" unless I gave them my address, phone number,first name, and last name. I thought about getting my "pick ticker" and waiting in line for another 15 minutes to pay for three 4x4s and then getting my truck and driving to menards outdoor lumber yard and waiting for their security check going in and coming out for another half hour and decided that Menards could stick my three 4x4s where the sun doesn"t shine. I drove five minutes to Lowes and had my lumber loaded in my truck in 8 minutes flat. NEVER BUY LUMBER AT MENARDS
Never Again Will I Shop at Menards
The "managers" they have look barely over 17, and their business knowledge matches. I asked the cashier to price check both light fixtures, and I would choose the cheapest of the two. While bagging my own items, she rung up both fixtures. As soon as I noticed, both h...ad been rung up I brought it to her attention. She advised me that I had to take the light I didnt want to Customer Service on the other side of the store. I waited in line for 25 minutes as one cashier took care of returns. When I reached the front of the line I explained what had occurred, They questioned my story, because they couldn't believe I hadn't even left the store and wanted to return it! I told them I had only wanted one of the fixture but the cashier rang uop both. Then the cashier called the manager and talked for about 3 minutes on whether or not she could return cash since I had w
Today's (1/2/10) shopping experience
Today we attempted to buy some fasteners at your store(1:00). The clerks were so busy visiting and leaning on the shelves we couldn't get to the shelves with the needed supplies. We were patiently waiting (along with 2 other customers) for access to the shelves. Fina...lly we gave up, left or card full of supplies and went to Wal Mart to get what we needed. When we left the cart the clerks shrugged their shoulders and kept right on talking and leaning. They could care less about helping. By the way the other 2 customers left too.
