Great Job
We needed help in fixing a roof leak on our house and couldn't get a loan from the bank. We were told about this housing program and called. The people were really nice and helped us fill out the paper work. We were able to get the contractor we wanted and the job wa...s done fast. We ended up with a no interest, no payment loan that doesn't have to be paid until we sell the house, even if it is 30 years from now. There is a lot of forms and papers to fill out but the people working there helped us and made it easier. That is a small price to pay for the help, especially since it ended up being a 0 interest loan. We'd recommend this program to anyone that needs help to fix up their house and can't get a regular loan.
Good Service
We have had great results from this organization. It is a government run program so there is paperwork to complete and it does take time for all of the details to be done. I am very happy with the construction work on my house and would recommend Rural Michigan CDC to everyone in need of help that can't afford the bank loan to fix up their home.
Bad service
I have tried for the last 7 months after the project was completed to get the papers resigned for the totel amount and they wount call me back to set up an appointment. I keep calling and I get the answering machine or I get the the other employee will call me but she never does. Something sounds fishy
