When our Maytag dryer of 23 years finally broke, I searched online for another Maytag. Sears claimed to have the best deal offered at $519.00 for the dryer I wanted. So I went into the store & spoke to the clerk & bought it. I paid extra for delivery, setup, & removal o...f old dryer with 3yr warranty for $900.00 in the end! Long story short, it's been 2 months & only 2days ago my new dryer was finally installed (not by Sears!) And my old dryer is sitting in my driveway at this moment!!!! The management (Mark) was so unprofessional, the store clerks just told you what you want to hear and came through with nothing they claimed! I had to pay another company $120.00 to install my dryer! I'm fighting for my refund now with no luck so far. Later I found out home depot & Lowes would have done everything for around the $638 to $657 range. If my grandfather were alive he would have told me to never deal with Sears. He hated them. But I should have known better. In the end I spent $1,000 2 months ago for a basis dryer. They never apologized or attempted to make any of this right. SEARS should hire more competent people who actually want to work & not just liars trying to make a sale. Buyers be warned!!!! Read More
