My family has been taking their computers there for years. UAB still uses them as a place to refer students to. They have a 1 day turn around time and are always willing to communicate with you about your system and what is going on. Can't believe this place is still in business. The manager acted like he was too busy to care about my problems. Rude to the point of being unprofessional. His attitude seemed to be that he was doing me a favor just talking to me.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. What a scam, I paid the "diagnostic" fee for absolutely nothing, except almost permanantly ruining my computer. Took it somewhere else to be repaired for what Uptech did. And rude is not the word for them. The owner is the... biggest jerk I've ever had to deal with as a customer. Absolutely worthless overall. This store is ripping people off! I was told that the diagnostic fee would be applied to the price of fixing the computer. After it was diagnosed they said it was a bad mothr board and power supply. Because it was a dell it could not be fixed. The funny thing is that an...other customer with an HP. had the same problem andhers could not be fixed either. Imagine that , a compoter repair store that can"t fix computers! When I returned to my car I opened the case only to find that all of the wiring had been pulled lose and left that way. I called another computer store and told them the diagnosis and was told that it would be no problem to get the parts and fix it. To any one Who sees the adds for this place, Beware the diagnotic fee is just a way to make $30.
