Great Job
I hired Vanguard Moving to move me from New Canaan, CT to New Canaan, CT. The president came out, and gave me an estimate. He warned me about weather and said that his operations department would stay on top of things. Well they did and wound up sending and army of m...en out to get a two day move done in one day. Nothing was damaged, the price was about the same and my husband and I wound up unpacking as 2 feet of snow came down. This was just a fantastic experience. I feel like I did not get the chance to thank the men for the hard work they provided. So I wanted to let everyone know what a great job this company did.
Great Job
I used Vanguard to move me and my family down to Florida. I tried to find as many place as I can to tell the public what a great job they did. One minor damage and it was our own fault. We packed a lamp shade in a box with the lamp. (Yes it is a bad idea). Regardle...ss the men we great, smart and able. They were on time and I had the driver contacting me with plenty of notice before the delivery. We did not have them perform any packing expect for our mattresses and mirrors, but what they did pack was done properly. I had met with Dave the owner, and I read how someone said bad things about him. I am not sure how they could. He took the time to explain everything to me! I mean everything! I wanted to defend him as a person who used his service. I did not have to contact him from the day of the sale on because he covered everything. Well to sum this up, I hope to see Vanguard survive in a bad economy. They provided me and my family with great service and honesty. R. Gross
Best three best moves ever
We hired Vanguard Moving three times. Once from our home in Danbury, to New York City. A second time from our home in Newtown, CT and then finally to our home in Palm Beach , FL. David Anton come out each time, offered us written estimates and explained regualtions t...o us. I could not say enough great things about this company. Bill, Cesar, Tom are great workers. We were lucky enough to have Bill move us all three times. This guy needs a raise. He works non-stop. The elevator broke down in NYC and it did not phase him. He just had the crew carry our things down three flights of stairs. I have already had two friends use them and they do feel the same as I. If you have a future move, give them a call.
Wonderul Move
My Name is John Walker. I moved from Southbury, CT to Bethel, CT. I am just writing to say how wonderful the move was. Everything from the sales rep to the men. Cesar was wonderful and so easy to deal with. I have tired to post as much as I can on this company. I would give them a 5 start service.
Thanks you,
J. Walker
