Horrible
This company had violated my consumer rights no less than 15 times. I gave them a debit card to run on the 10th if each month - they always ran it early and now are refusing to accept our checks - the female general manager claims "we must have a bounced check somewhere.... " my husband listened as SHE called her processor - low and behold it is Aaron's fault as they don't process enough. They call my references asking for payment - totally against FDCA - I am serving them with legal documents and proceeding with suit. Funny thing is - the appliances are just about paid off and they begin all this stuff. DONT USE THEM
THEY ARE HORRIBLE!
I bought a computer from them and ended up having to go to AZ temporary for medical care at the Mayo Clinic. I asked them to change my payment date to the 20th because that is when I get and EXPLAINED what was going on. They have NO MERCY! They wanted me to pay 2 months... up front to do that when it was a matter of 10 days difference. I just sent the money anyway on the 20th via money order for a few months until I was able to send them a check this month. They called me and told me that they WOULD NOT process that check, so I told them they were not getting payment then if they did not take the check. Because I have no car to go out and get a money order. I told them to come and get the computer and they said they would and wanted my address they would rather not have payment and take the computer back even though I have been paying for it for 8 months EVERY MONTH and owe hardly nothing left! They people are JERKS!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! GO TO RENT A CENTER THEY NICER!
Mafia style tactics shark like customer service
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE THUGS!!! They are one step away from being a full blown copy of mafia style tatics. My experiance at aarons started off with renting a laptop they were very nice till i came in the next day to inquire why they overcharged me 400 bucks excluding re...ntal financing they told me its not their problem I signed and should have known better and they were so defensive of my inquiry of thier methods they told me to I qoute ""get the hell out of my store and deal with it or we will call the police"" so I will be paying 1600 bucks for a 600 dollar lap top 500 bucks just for financing. Im just sick, also you can see how they deal with late payments google pending lawsuits against aarons, they even threatin people lifes and hire felons with ankle bracelets to do their enforcing for them, this can be found in the San Antonio lightning news paper be fore warned stay away.
