Te expungement process and availability is different in every state. In the State of Tennessee this procedure allows an individual to be taken back to the moment before the incident. In other words once the expungement has been processed the arrest, jail time, or citation never happened.
In the State of TN a criminal charge can be expunged from an individuals record of the matter was dismissed, outright or through a Judicial Diversion. Otherwise, if a conviction was entered the case cannot be expunged.
However, this applies to TN and does not apply to all states. I recommend that you contact a criminal defense attorney in the state where the charge was handled for legal advice on the matter.

Hello: It is possible but not a sure thing. It depends on the nature of the felony, the state in which charged, state or federal court and any record after the date of the original felongy. It also depends on compliance with probationary terms, if probation was included or you "killed your time". JMV

In Missouri, if you are convicted of a felony, that felony can not be expunged from your record.

At best you might try it, only if you can prove to the court that the crime you were charged with never happened. Second best is to request to have your file sealed.

You need to ask an attorney in the State where the conviction occurred. Wisconsin limits expungement to the lowest level felonies, and it is most likely to be granted when the issue was addressed at the original sentencing hearing.

It would depend on how long ago the conviction was and what your record has been since the felony
