Dog Section: How often do you feed your dogs?
As the title.
Now, to get on with what I'm trying to say.
This is no way a rant at any one - this is more an outreach to all of you. :)
I'm very saddened to see that as the result of high school-esque drama both on this section and in private chatrooms, the "regulars" of this section appear to all be turning on each other, creating "cliques" and taking sides.
Because of this a beloved member that was respected by ALL members of this community has felt the need to excuse himself from the section. Many of us will miss him greatly, both as a contributor and as a friend. But be this a warning to the rest of you - that the behaviour that is going on at the moments.
Please can we please remember why we're all here - we LOVE our dogs, and we want to help other people with their dogs, as well as helping our fellow regulars on here in times of need. This is a great section - when members need support we ALWAYS band around, and it seems such a waste to let a few individuals ruin this with childish behaviour.
Please everyone, for the sake of the community that we all love so much, can we refrain from "taking sides", name calling, false accusations, and the general cattiness. I love you guys - there is NOBODY on this forum I could say I dislike (with one very obvious exception...) and you've all shown me nothing but kindness - lets not ruin our reputation as being an awesome group of people by acting like children.
So, how often do you feed your dogs? ;)Tags: private chatrooms, nothing but kindness, false accusations, beloved member, taking sides, cliques, regulars, contributor, rant, sake, outreach, dogs, reputation

A dog should be fed similiar to that of a person, 3 times a day. This of course does depend on the size or servings you are providing. They should have fresh water in their bowl daily, regardless of how much they drank the previous day, they need it fresh. They shall always have an ample amount of dry food that is rich in protein, and additionally, should consume a meat product atleast once daily.

Our dogs and other pets have food and water available to them 24 hours a day. When a new pets arrive, they sometimes head for the food dish to eat a lot, but in only a day or so, they realize that the feeding bin never goes empty and they just eat when they need to.
Water is changed out at least twice a day, but during the summer months and outdoor activity it could be as many as four times a day.
