Very nice shopping in the Smoky Mountains
We really enjoyed looking around in the Apple Valley Country Store. Of course the Quilts are all beautiful, and the picture selection was wonderful. We will go back again, (Soon I hope), because the prices are very reasonable. All the people in Townsend were very nice. We enjoyed our stay so very very much!
Love this store!
We just spent a week in the mountains, staying in Townsend. We loved the restaurant and the store, which was priced more reasonable than stores at Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I can't wait to come back.

Bakery & Store
We stopped in this weekend. My friend wanted a fried apple pie! We first went into the knick nak store and bought a few things. Then walked over to the bakery. It had closed early! I mentioned it to the lady in the quilt store, which was also nice, she said that the...y do that if they are slow! Well they missed 4 adults with only one thing on the mind, fried apple ple! We normally visit that area every two years, we will keep this customer service in mind when we go back. The bathrooms are not nice.
Wouldnt stop & shop here again.......
This was my son's first vacation after his daddy passed away and I was hoping that it would've been a good one. We stopped there on our way to PF and everyone (except for a lady in the candy shop) was R U D E !!!! You would think that after driving for 4 - 5 hours, we... would have gotten good customer service there...considering they charge and arm & a leg for EVERYTHING in there. But...... We had went into their little restaurant, but chose to leave when the people behind the counter helped customers BEHIND US.... It wouldve been different had they ASKED if they could help us. Nobody asked if they could go in front of us either. This is one place that I would highly NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE...... I wouldnt even let my dog use the potty there. TRAVELLERS BEWARE....KEEP GOING... DO NOT TURN HERE
