About AO Radio

American Outdoorsman (AO) aired its first broadcast in 1990.  Now, it has not only cable, satellite, network broadcasting, a line of outdoor products and web-casting but a weekly radio program as well.  With radio broadcasts in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and American Armed Forces Radio, AO offers a multi-faceted approach to its 70 million listeners.

Hosted by Tony George and Mark Tobin, they bring their combined experience of over 40 years in radio.  Their guests have included Ted Nugget, Sig Hansen, Jared Allen, Tim Kelly, Jeff Hammond, JJ Yeley and other celebrities from the NFL, NASCAR and the History Channel.

Topics covered have included red stag hunting in Scotland, salmon fishing in Oregon, wild turkey hunting in Missouri and techniques to catch fish or game.  The one-hour weekly program includes interviews, game cooking tips and habitat information about the game you are hunting.  Survival tips and camping ideas are also shared to make not only a safe, but fun trip for you and your family.
