About Custom Stationary Designs

There are several different types of custom stationary needs individuals and businesses may need. Stationary includes letterhead or personalized paper; envelopes with an individual or businesses name and address printed on it, which matches the letterhead or paper and sometimes customized stickers with an initial or a custom logo embossed on it.

There are a few different pieces of custom stationary an individual or business may need to send out letters or invitations, but there are endless possibilities for custom stationary designs.

Business Stationary Designs

Most businesses will use their custom logo as their design on their custom letterhead, envelops or as a special seal. If they do not have a logo, there are small splashes of colors, flowers and other types of designs that may go with what a company manufactures or sells. The paper color is typically white with black lettering and minimal coloring.

Personal Letter Designs

For most women a simple floral pattern or lines of color will be enough to signify that the letter is from a woman or is feminine. For men the color blue or more masculine colors and block lettering would be a better design to signify that the correspondents are from a male writer. For younger letter writers, there is children's lettering, alphabets on wooden blocks or on the front of toys and the coloring is brighter.

Wedding Invitation Designs

Colors are important to wedding invitations but they are not the only thing these types of invitations have going for them. Wedding invitation designs also depend on the theme. Some couples about to marry choose an old-fashioned wedding and the design on their invitations could reflect their traditions. A little research into the grooms past could bring up a family crest, which might make a unique and different style design.
