About General Tree Clean-Up

Like any other plant or vegetation, trees should be pruned, cut, and trimmed. The waste from the trees must also be properly disposed of to avoid any accidents or complaints from a concerned neighbor. Whether a person decides to remove tree debris him/herself or hire a professional to do the labor; it has to be done.

If you are planning to do a general tree clean-up without the assistance of a professional, there are a few tools and supplies that you will need, such as: working gloves, heavy-duty garbage bags, rake, garden hose, saw, and a broom.

Step 1:

Once you have all of the tools and supplies handy, the next step will be to put the larger tree limbs in a separate pile so that they can be broken down at a later time. Don't forget to wear gloves in order to protect your hands against any friction.

Step 2:

Pick up the smaller limbs and place them into the garbage bag until there are none left on the ground.

Step 3:

Take a saw or a useful tool that will be able to break down the larger limbs and repeat step 2.

Step 4:

Use a rake to gather the leaves and smaller particles into a pile(s), which can also be used for compost or simply discarded.

Final step:

Once every thing has been bagged and ready to put into the dumpster, sweep the side-walk or drive-way with a broom, then use the water hose to wash away the extra dirt and dust.

If you don't want to wait for your area's scheduled garbage pick-up, then you might want to call the local solid waste management organization to see where the tree clean-up can be taken.
