About Kids' Science Projects
When you were in school, chances are that you had to complete at least one science fair project. Depending on your level of dedication to the project, you may have chosen a project that was at or below your grade level. If you were in elementary school, you most likely had quite a bit of help from your parents in completing the project.
Projects For Young Children
Young children are naturally curious and will often find even the simplest thing fascinating. As a parent, helping your young child learn is important which is why a science project is a great way to help them learn. One of the easiest projects that you can do with a young child is to grow beans. Children love watching things grow, but beans are the easiest thing to grow in your home. All you have to do is place some beans in a zip lock baggy with a moist paper towel and watch them grow. A great way to get your child involved is to have him take pictures each day to see how much the beans actually grew.
Middle School and High School
During middle school and high school, children are most likely able to complete a science project without too much help. If your child is having difficulty coming up with a project, some of the most popular projects involve recording blood pressures. Your child could take the blood pressure of someone playing a video game after a predetermined amount of time. Also, your child could record the heart rate of multiple people after running around the school track.
