About Online Certified Nursing Assistant Programs
Certified Nursing Assistant programs are becoming very popular online. More people are turning to the Internet to take their classroom work. Many people enjoy taking the program online because it gives them the chance to learn and study for assignments at their own pace.
Training Programs

Clinical hours give students the opportunity to practice their skills that they have been taught in class. Students will have to perform these clinical hours under a registered nurse.
Competency Exam
After successfully completing the online program and clinicals students are then eligible to sit and take the state board competency tests. Students take a written test as well as perform five nurse aide clinical skills in front of a state board registered nurse.

Continuing Education
Students are required to complete a certain number of working hours each year to maintain their license. These hours can vary depending upon the state in which you work. Nursing assistants have to work under the license of a registered nurse.
