About Operational Grants for Art Schools

Two common grants for art schools are project grants and operational grants. Project grants are used to support a specific project, while operational grants allow for more flexibility. When an art school receives operational grants, they are able to use the grants for any general operating expense. Operational grants can help art schools find teachers, buy supplies and renovate the building.

National Assembly of State Arts Agencies Grant

The agencies believe that by supporting arts education, they help to foster young imaginations and build creativity.
