There is nothing more beautiful than having the perfect wedding. A professional wedding planner is hired by the wedding couple to assist them with the planning and the organization of their wedding. Wedding planners can charge a flat fee for their services or require a percentage of the total cost of the wedding, depending on the services that they provide.

Preparation and Budget

The wedding planner prepares a timeline, schedule and list that shows all of the tasks that are involved in the planning of the wedding while keeping a running tab on the wedding expenses. Wedding planners negotiate with the vendors to get the best prices and to save money for their clients.

The wedding planner discusses the wedding budget with the bride, groom and her parents. They discuss how much of the budget will be spent on the wedding and how much of the budget will be spent on the reception.

Ceremony

Wedding planners gives advice for the planning of the wedding ceremony.  They help in the selection of the wedding date and the time that the wedding will be held.  They help with the choosing of the wedding venue. The wedding planner will help with the finding of a wedding official and in selecting the wedding music. They assist in obtaining the marriage license and are the guides at the wedding rehearsal. They are experienced in wedding ceremonies and know how the processional and recessional events should be performed.

Reception

The wedding planners offers advice for the planning of the wedding reception, the time of day that the reception will be held, and help in the choose of venues for the reception. They help with the choosing of the venue staff and help with the wedding reception activities like when to cut the cake, when to toast, first dance, father/daughter dance and more. They also help with choosing the menu for the reception.
