Airport Transportation Information
Many people find that flying from one airport to another is actually the easiest part of air transportation. The more complicated, and often quite frustrating part is finding a means of getting to, from, and around a strange airport at your final destination.
Using Airport Shuttles
Shuttles are often the simplest and most cost-effective means of transporting yourself to and from the airport. Some large airports even have shuttles that take people from one section of the airport to another. Shuttle services are sometimes provided by hotels and typically operate on routes that extend from the most popular hotels to the entrances of the airport.
Renting a Car
Car rentals are the most popular form of transportation for individuals who plan to stay for an extended period of time. This is often the case for people who are traveling on business or to visit relatives. Renting a car usually requires a credit card and you are often required to have or purchase rental insurance.
Using a Tax Service
Taxis are excellent means of transportation for people who have planned short stays or intend to use mass transit for the majority of their stay in the area. Paying for a taxi service can be the most expensive method of airport transportation if not utilized effectively, but they are great for people who plan to travel too little to justify a car rental or do not have time for the slower but less expensive shuttle service.
