Top Makeup Primers for Oily Skin

Applying Foundation Makeup Primer

Apply foundation makeup primer to get a flawless look.  Foundation primer is used to disguise unwanted flaws, including wrinkles, uneven skin tone and acne.  By using a primer, it provides many added skin benefits.  These include healthy, beautiful skin.  As well as provide protection against harmful UV rays.

Primer

Makeup primer is a light cream that is applied to the face.  It primes the face to get ready for the foundation.  The makeup primer sets the foundation before it is placed onto the face, which allows the foundation to last twice as long.  Applying foundation makeup primer is easy to do, and has many benefits.

Application

Apply the primer with one of the ring fingers, especially around the eyes.  The area surrounding the eyes is sensitive and needs a gentle touch, which is what the ring finger provides.  Work the primer in a circular motion from the outside of the face to the center.  Many foundation primers have a concealer, which helps with filling wrinkles, and evening out the skin tone.

Benefits

Using a foundation makeup primer has many benefits that are great for the skin.  The primer not only acts as a base for the foundation and fills wrinkles, but it also provides the illusion that the pores appear to be smaller than they actually are.  The primer keeps the skin healthy, as it keeps the harmful chemicals found in foundation out of the pores.  When used, makeup goes on easy and makes the skin feel smooth.  Makeup primers moisturize the face, and disguise any imperfections that one has on the face.

Anyone can use a foundation primer.  Most primers are available for all skin types, though people with oily skin should be careful to not get a primer that adds shine.
