Bachelorette Party Clothes Ideas

Determining what type of clothing to wear for a bachelorette party does not have to be difficult. By choosing a unique theme for the bachelorette party, you can give everyone a better idea of the proper attire, as well as what the evening might hold for those who attend. There are several themes that can be used to come up with fun bachelorette party clothes ideas.

  • Togas - This classic take on Greek dress is fun, flirty and can be executed with fashionable flair. The bride-to-be can be dressed in a white toga, while guests can be dressed in black togas. This will allow the bachelorette to stand out. To be more creative, add the Greek words for beautiful bride, "όμορφη νύφη” or another Greek phrase to a sash and place it on the bachelorette.

  • Dance Party - If the bachelorette likes to dance, give the party a dance theme. The bride can dress in something tight, white and flashy, while guests have the creative right to dress as sexy as possible for a night that will be spent taking over the dance floor. Bachelorette clothing can be complimented by adding multi-colored clip-in hair, glitter gloss, a lighted or glittered garter and a giant tiara.

  • Customized T-Shirts - Customized t-shirts can be a lot of fun. You can have a white shirt made for the bride with custom wording and have colored shirts made for each guest. Be sure to bring permanent markers so that everyone can sign the bachelorette's shirt. For added fun, place 3-4 inch pieces of ribbon on safety pins and pin all over the shirt. Tie Lifesavers candies to the ribbons and use your imagination to create a game for the night.

  • Wild West - This idea is great for country music clubs. The bachelorette can dress in cut off denim shorts, a plaid or gingham shirt, cowboy boots and a white cowboy hat with a veil attached to the front or ribbons and bells attached to the back. Guests can wear similar attire.

  • Marrying the Mob - This bachelorette party theme is great for clubs, formal get-togethers at restaurants or halls, the casino and more. Dress the bride in a white pinstriped suit, accented with a white veiled hat. Make sure the bachelorette has a big gawdy fake "Godmother" ring. Guests can wear gray or black suits or dresses.

  • Over the Top - Dress the bride like a starlet in a long white sexy dress, flashy jewelry and big sunglasses. Complete the look with a huge feathered boa. Guests can wear fancy dresses and feathered boas or opt to pose as paparazzi.
