Repair
- Use a denture repair kit and a dental repair kit to temporarily fix your dental bridge until you can see a dentist.
- Start by washing the bridge off and making sure the whole bridge is still there. It is not a good idea to fix the dental bridge yourself if there are any pieces missing and will not fit together properly.
- Read the directions on the denture repair kit, and mix the powder and liquid together. This will form a cement paste to hold the broken pieces together.
- Hold the broken pieces in your hand and spread a layer of cement on each of them.
- Hold the pieces of the dental bridge together until the cement dries.
- Scrape off any excess cement that is left on the bridge, and rinse any debris off.
- Use the putty from the dental repair kit to place the dental bridge back in your mouth, making sure to read the instructions in the dental repair kit for the proper way to do it.
- Make sure your bite feels normal when you bite down, and take it back out if it is not a good fit.
- See a dentist as soon as possible to have the broken dental bridge repaired.
