Electronic Pest Removal

Electronic pest control is designed to attack pest and insects in a different way than the normal insect spray. The operation of electronic pest control is totally different. The method of using electronics to control a pest problem has not been approved as the best way to handle the issue.

Sounds and vibration through subsonic devices have been formed to control insect problem with signal frequencies.

Insect Ultrasonic Devices create high-frequency sound waves just above what humans and pets can hear. These sound waves are at a range of 10,000 hertz. In November of 2006, a study was performed in Brazil in order to check the effectiveness of the device. To date, there has been no effective repelling of insects with ultrasonic devices.

Leonard R. Ashkam, a former Research Scientist for Washington State University, has tested rodent Ultrasonic Devices. Ashkam reported that rodent ultrasonic devices do not produce a sound wave strong enough to affect rodents. Rodents hearing ability in closely related to humans, so a rodent device would disturb humans when in use. This device, if it worked effectively, would also have a negative impact on cats or dogs in the home. The rodent ultrasonic device would not be strong enough to travel throughout the entire home; the device cannot extend beyond fifteen feet.

Rodent Subsonic Devices operate in a lower frequency range. This device is said to operate on a low range that only rodents and insects can hear. With the subsonic device, obstructions in your home block the sound frequency from going from one end of a home room to another.
