Fall Home Decorating on a Budget
Fall is often considered one of the best times of the year and is the perfect time to redecorate your home with a bit of fall flair. Luckily, you don’t have to break the bank in order to decorate for fall; it is an easy task that anyone on a budget can achieve.
- Refresh your furniture with a new slipcover. Adding a slipcover to your couch is the perfect way to add a fall element without having to spend a lot of money. For a fall theme choose subdued colors, such as: reds, oranges and browns. In addition to using a slipcover, further decorate your living room with fall themed throw pillows. Either buy throw pillows or create your own with fall themed material.
- Create a table centerpiece. One simple way to decorate for fall on a budget is to bring a bit of the fall nature into your home. Do this by creating a table centerpiece out of fall vegetables. Place a nice looking bowl in the center of the table and fill with yellow, orange and green gourds and miniature pumpkins.
- Add a bit of fall to your mantle. Gather a few pinecones from your yard and spray paint a gold color. Line your mantle with these pinecones. Enhance the look by purchasing a few fake fall flowers in fall colors. Focus on using oranges, browns and reds.
- Make use of cornstalks. For outside décor, add a few cornstalks to your patio or porch. Hang them from the sides of the patio with a plant hook. To further emphasize the fall look, add different sizes of pumpkins underneath the corn stalks.
