When deciding to paint the interior or exterior of your home it is important to shop around to get a good deal on paint, especially if you are going to be doing a lot of painting. The best paint isn’t always the most expensive, and there are many brands that work just as well as the more expensive ones, and they will save you a lot of money.

1. Measure to see how much paint you will need. Some paint brands may have larger containers at cheaper prices, and buying in bulk will save money.

4. Look in newspapers and fliers for rebates on paint cans. Many elite brands that cost more will offer rebates on paint, which makes them more affordable.  


5. Go online to look for house paint coupons from specific paint manufacturers. Some offer coupons that you can print off the Internet and use in stores.


6. Finding affordable brands of house paint means shopping around, so compare at least two or three locations before you make a purchase. Many hardware stores frequently offer deals, so ask the associate in the paint department about any upcoming promotions.
