Fun Ways to Decorate Office Doors for Christmas
The holidays are a joyful time of year and many offices like to join in on the celebration as well. It can boost worker morale to decorate the office during Christmas time. Decorating the office door can create a very festive environment.
- Use office supplies to decorate the door. Instead of spending a ton of money on decorations, utilize the supplies in your office for decorations. Computer paper can be used for a variety of decorations and old printer cartridges can be decorated and hung as ornaments.
- Decorate with ribbons. Take some wide red and green ribbon and tack it to the top of the door. Place two more additional strips of ribbon down the door and tack it at the bottom. Finally take another two strips across the door tacking them as well. When you are done, the door will look like a giant gift wrapped box.
- Decorate the door with tiny wreaths. Use old scratched CD's to make the wreaths. Decorate the outside of the cd with a picture of each employee in the office. Take ribbon and thread it through the hole in the cd and make a knot. Hang the wreaths all over the door.
- Create a Christmas background. Cover the door with foil. Use computer paper to cut into snowflakes. Stick the snowflakes to the foil. Add garland or tape blinking Christmas lights to the door.
- Make a Christmas wish list. Use green construction paper and cut it out in the shape of a tree. Place the tree on the door. Next, use more colored construction paper to make ornaments to go on the tree. Pass the ornaments out to each employee and have them put their name and what they would like for Christmas on the ornament. Hang them on the door. Add candy canes and Christmas cards for additional decoration.
