Grants For Private Christian Schools
School grants are one of the best ways to pay for schooling With college tuition prices on the rise you can expect to pay nearly double for a private school education. However, there are many programs that offer private school grants to help cut down on expenses and to avoid constantly turning to loans. Grants for school are a great alternative to loans.
When searching for ways to pay for the college a great place to start are school grants. Grants are the best choice since unlike student loans they do not ever need to be paid back. Grants for school are often paid four times a year, at the beginning, and end of each quarter or semester. Private school is much more expensive than a state university, which is why a student has the options for free private school grants.
The first step is to apply for your FAFSA by March of each school year. By applying, you are automatically eligible for private school grants. Grants are determined by income, financial need and year in school. There are four types of grants:
1. Federal
2. Merit
3. Awarding
4. Educational Opportunity grants
Once your FAFSA is submitted, after 7 days the submission will be sent to the private school and confirmation will be sent to the student. The grant will be sent to the school and the private school will often have a set release date for the private grant.
