Guidelines for Mold Abatement Contractors

Grants for Mold Remediation

Mold remediation is the process of cleaning and removing mold in indoor locations, most usually schools, government buildings, businesses and homes or apartments. Mold is highly dangerous, especially for those with sensitive lungs, and the remediation process should be done by a professional contractor.

Though mold remediation can pertain to projects of all scopes, from small to very large, the cost to hire professional contractors to properly remove dangerous mold and toxins from an indoor location is usually quite expensive. There are some government sponsored grants that are allocated for funding mold remediation to individuals, businesses and areas that need financial assistance. These grants usually involve an application process to determine cost, need and eligibility.
