How To Get Off Tanning Lotion
Self-tanning creams seem like the answer to all your hang ups about lying out and getting a tan. Once you have the cream on, you realize you now have orange hands, streaky legs or spots of white. Whatever the problem, you will want a quick and easy removal method when you find yourself without the remover sold in stores.
Everyone has had those moments of panic when trying a self-tanning cream, only to realize it is in places it should not be. Worse is when you find yourself at 11 p.m. hoping to give yourself a golden tan for an event the next day and you now have extremely tanned hands. A quick trip into your kitchen can help you out of this.
Baking Soda Method
What you will need:
- 1 1/2 cups of baking soda
- Warm tub full of water
- Cloth
Directions:
- Fill tub with warm water.
- Add one cup of the baking soda.
- Sit in tub and gently massage your skin.
For stubborn areas, dip the cloth into the half cub baking soda you have leftover and spot treat thicker areas of skin. This is a great way to remove the lotion from your entire body.
Lemon Method
What you will need:
- One lemon
- 1 cup of water
- Cloth
Directions:
- Squeeze one-half of the lemon into the cup of water.
- Add mixture to cloth.
- Massage skin with cloth.
For darker areas, use the other half of the lemon and rub it right on the spot.
Both of these methods work well. If you find that you still have trouble spots, you may need to purchase a self-tanning cream remover.
