How To Make Bead Earrings

The tools needed to complete this project include, but are not limited to: chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, two ear hooks, two head pins, beads of any color and wire cutters.

1. Place beads on each of the two head pins. Three beads on each pin should suffice. When the beads are arranged in a pattern you like on each head pin, bend the remaining of the head pin at a 90-degree angle over the top of the stacked beads using chain-nosed pliers. Use the wire cutters to trim the bent head pin if it is longer than 1/2 of an inch. 

2. Curl the bent head pin using round-nose pliers. Start with the bent head pin facing away from you and then bend the head pin back towards you using the round-nose pliers. Leave the loop slightly open that you created with the round-nose pliers for the final step.

3. Place the ear hooks, one on each head pin, through the loops left slightly open from the previous step. Close the loop with chain-nose pliers to keep the ear hooks in place.
