How To Use A Car Wax Buffer

Using a car wax buffer is one of the fastest and easiest ways to polish a car. A buffer is beneficial in preserving the paint and finish of a car. It is highly recommended that a car be buffed every two to three months to keep the paint looking its best. Using a buffer is fairly easy to do with some instructions.

How to Use A Car Wax Buffer

  1. Wash your car thoroughly with a mixture of soap and warm water. It is recommended that you use a soap that contains a wax remover if you have any wax residue on your car from a previous wax job. You should wash the car by hand yourself rather than taking it to a carwash because some commercial car washes uses conditioners, which makes it difficult to use car wax buffers.

  2. Use clean water to rinse all the soap from the car.

  3. Use a damp sponge to rub a small amount of car wax onto the surface of the vehicle. The wax should be applied to the car in a circular motion.

  4. Attach a clean buffer pad to the buffer.

  5. Spread the wax onto the surface of the car using the buffer.

  6. Use your hand to guide the buffer where you want it to go.

  7. Continue buffing the surface of the car until the entire car has been done.
