How to Add a Photo to Baptism Invitations

A baptism is the welcoming of one's new religious life. It is a time which family members can introduce babies to not only the religious community, but also to friends and relatives. A perfect way is a formal baptism invitation photo. Photos can be professionally printed or from your own home printer.

Supplies

  • Computer

  • Printer

  • Scanner

  • Cards

  • Photo

  1. Select which photo you will use for the invitation. Consider having a formal portrait taken.

  2. Go shopping for invitations. There are a variety of different styles on the market. Some invitations have ready photo pockets for printed photos to be inserted.

  3. For invitations without special photo compartments, glue the photo inside the flap of the card. It is a good idea to use glue sparingly, as sometimes recipients want to remove and save the photo.

  4. If you are printing your own invitations, select a photo from your computer or scan in your favorite for the occasion. Try and select a photo which has a somewhat formal appearance for your invitation.

  5. Use your graphic design software to lay out and design your invitation. When you have completed your invitation's design, save the project in a .JPEG format and then print out the completed invitation card.

  6. However, if you choose not to print your invitations, you can order them from an online photo service. Simply upload your .JPEG  format file to the photo company's server and select  the number of prints you would like, and place your order.

  7. The invitations will be delivered to your door in a few days, ready for you to address and mail.
