How to Apply Leg Makeup
Women choose to use leg makeup for a number of reasons, but most importantly to smooth out the appearance of their legs. Although traditional pantyhose will achieve this just as well, some women prefer the feel and appearance of having their legs bare. To achieve a natural, smooth look, care must be taken to apply leg makeup properly.
- Buy a spray-on leg makeup that matches your skin tone.
- Clean and shave your legs.
- Use a loofah or an exfoliating scrub to gently exfoliate your skin while you are in the shower. This will remove dull, dry and flaking skin cells that can make your makeup application appear uneven as opposed to smooth and natural.
- Apply a moisturizer to your skin after you've finished exfoliating.
- Shake up the spray-on makeup.
- Hold the can approximately six inches above one leg only before spraying it evenly and lightly up and down your leg.
- Blend the spray with your hands immediately after spraying. This is to ensure that there are no streaks or missed spots.
- Spray the same leg again if you feel more coverage is needed, but avoid applying too much to prevent the makeup from looking too heavy. Smooth again immediately after spraying.
- Repeat with the opposite leg.
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to remove any makeup from your fingers.
